Day 28 no Spend August / Tears and Bubbly
I made a complete fool of myself today, although I think that,s the Mother of the Brides perogative. My Daughter came over to try on her Wedding Dress today, she has been trying to lose a few pounds before her wedding day and we were a bit worried that her dress was going to be a bit too big, but it fitted like a glove and she was so beautiful in it that I just bawled like a baby. The couple of glasses of bubbly that we had with the fitting could have had something to do with it of course.
Apart from that I had a really quiet day, just the usual cleanout that happens on a Saturday, hope you all enjoy your weekend.

Congratulations you've get $10 left!
ReplyDeleteYou think that's embarrasing? My mother got remarried last year and I bawled my eyes out from the minute we go into the car, when I walked her down the aisle, during the ceremony but then I managed to pull myself together by the photos.Quite pathetic but I was so happy that she was happy.
Wow you've done great this month. I don't have daughters, I have sons. My oldest son got married 3 years ago and when he was engaged his wife to be invited me to go with her and her mother to pick out a wedding dress. It was a wonderful experience and I was so fortunate to have her share it with me.
