My goals for this year are all financial. I could add that I want to walk 10,000 steps a day, or that I will stick to 1,200 calories per day. I could even write down my learn a new recipe a week goal, or learn to crochet ( something I,ve never been able to master ) goal.
But the truth is I am only interested in my finances, and how far I can go with my paltry minimum age.
Goals For 2011
Debt 1) Started the year with this debt standing at $5,672 I want to half this amount by Dec. 2011 to
$2,836
Debt 2) Started this year with this debt standing at $772.00 will have this paid in full by April 8th 2011
00.00 Balance
Superannuation - this is currently standing at $20.000 my employers make a weekly contribution and I also pay around $40 weekly into this, but because of the fluctuating markets I have no idea how much will be in this account at the end of 2011, fingers crossed.
Lap Of The Gods
Emergency Fund - I intended to bring this fund up to $1,000 as quickly as possible, but I,m now wondering if this is enough of a cushion, however I am aiming for.
$1,000
Holiday Fund - I am currently putting away $40 a week into this fund, but as I intend to go away April and December this amount will fluctuate during the year. But I will need to have at least.
$2,000
Long Term Savings - This money is to go towards my retirement, but the most I can add to this weekly is $50. This money is not to be broken into for anything at all until after I leave work, and then only as a back up. Hoping to have in this account by Dec. 2011
$2,500
A few other smaller goals I have set myself are, keep all bank fees down to an absolute minimum by only using my own banks ATM,s and always having enough money in my account to cover standing orders. Use cash for my Groceries, my ME money and Petrol. Put all snowflakes into debt monthly. And last but not least keep my blog up to date, this last goal will keep me accountable and honest.
