Not Feeling 100%

Down In The Dumps

I have been feeling pretty low the last few days, I am prone to these feelings and during the time I feel like this I am not inclined to blog, leave the house in fact I hardly want to leave my bed. This seems to be my bodies way of coping with any problems which arise in my life and without medication I can't cope.  My world comes crashing down and all problems get magnified way beyond control, at least my control. I count and recount money, worry about bills don't answer the phone and don't open emails. Yesterday I received two blocked calls on my mobile phone which I never bothered to answer.
There is no need for me to feel like this I have my bills all under control, money in the bank and I am making great inroads on my debt,  this is a habit I have gotten into from so many years of living on the edge. When will this feeling of having no control ever end.........

My Grandchildren are coming over later to stay with me for a couple of days, they are on school holidays and I can't wait to have them here. We are heading to the Movies tomorrow to see Brave and have Lunch out. I have a bit of money left over from last weeks budget so we will use that to have a great day out.......

Apologies for MIA but I am seeing a light at the end of what was a dark tunnel, so I am back in the drivers seat again......

    1. Believe me if the weather was warmer I would definitely enjoy a picnic, but I find the weather so cold this Winter. My blood must have thinned way down....

  3. Oh enjoy Brave!!! We saw it this last weekend. Great movie.

Regarding your last post too. One step at a time. Back in 2001 I found out my identity had been stolen....a year after the fact. Oh yes, all the original debts plus collections to deal with. Long story short, I finally spent one day a week dealing with all the accounts(there were many, plus Social Security, police reports, DMV,college, apartments, etc) the person who did it really went crazy. All that time I thought my credit was bad. Every day I was angry, pissed off, and yelling at everyone. Not the way to live. So I made the decision that no matter how bad things were, or scared, I was to deal with things one day a week. I put the files away and lived my life the other 6 days. Doing this helped me slowly gain control and to feel normal again.

You will get through this, and based on what you state in your posts, you are getting better. I can see and read it.

    1. What a great idea, only one day a week spent worrying. That sounds like my idea of heaven, I'm going to make it a Tuesday, so another week to go before I have to face it all again....Heaven !!!!

  4. I think thats a great idea. You can't let it overwhelm your life but I know how you feel..some times I get depressed and overwhelmed to and just want to stay in bed.

But no matter what we are all gonna get through this together

  7. I'm a great believer in just putting one foot in front of another and moving ahead one slogging footstep at a time. It can be depressing to contemplate how long it will take to have everything right in one's world, and it absolutely IS depressing to rehash all of one's past mistakes. To coin a cliche, what IS, IS. We just have to deal with it but we don't have to deal with everything all at once. I hope the grandkids help dispell your mood, but mostly, I hope that you will gain enough distance from the restaurant/debts to see it as a learning experience--albeit an expensive and long-lasting one. Take care.
